Terms of Service

The standard terms governing use of the Foundation for Oral Rehabilitation educational platform and Zygoma Hub.

Last updated

March 15, 2026. These terms apply to your access to Zygoma Hub and related FOR educational services unless another written agreement explicitly overrides them.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Zygoma Hub and related services provided by the Foundation for Oral Rehabilitation (FOR). By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

If you use the platform on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Educational purpose

Zygoma Hub is an educational platform for clinicians and learners interested in oral rehabilitation and zygomatic implantology. Content is provided for professional education and should not be treated as patient-specific medical advice.

You remain solely responsible for your clinical judgment, treatment decisions, local compliance obligations, and patient care outcomes.

3. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activities that occur under your account unless you promptly report unauthorized use.

FOR may suspend or restrict access if account information is inaccurate, security is at risk, payment or invitation requirements are not met, or platform rules are violated.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape protected content, upload harmful material, infringe intellectual property, or post unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or confidential patient information without appropriate authorization and de-identification.

Forum posts, direct messages, case submissions, and uploaded materials must remain professional, respectful, and relevant to the educational mission of the platform.

5. Content ownership and license

Unless otherwise stated, platform content, course materials, branding, design, text, video, graphics, and assessments are owned by FOR or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these terms, FOR grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for your personal or internal professional educational use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit platform content without prior written permission.

6. User submissions

You retain ownership of content you submit, such as forum posts, case materials, and profile information. By submitting content, you grant FOR a license to host, display, reproduce, adapt, and use that content as needed to operate, moderate, improve, and promote the platform and its educational activities.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions necessary to submit the content and that any patient-related material has been lawfully de-identified or authorized for educational use.

7. Certificates, assessments, and program changes

FOR may define completion standards, assessment thresholds, certificate requirements, faculty participation, and program structures in its discretion. Access to modules, assessments, and certificates may change as the platform evolves.

We may update or remove content, pause features, or revise educational pathways when necessary for quality, legal, technical, or operational reasons.

8. Disclaimers

The platform is provided on an as available and as is basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. FOR does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that all content is complete, current, or suitable for every user or jurisdiction.

External links, third-party tools, and referenced materials are provided for convenience. FOR is not responsible for third-party services or content outside its control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FOR and its affiliates, faculty, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the platform.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid, if any, for access to the relevant service during the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination and contact

You may stop using the platform at any time. FOR may suspend or terminate access if needed to protect the platform, comply with law, respond to abuse, or enforce these terms.

Questions about these terms can be sent to francisco@for.org. Continued use after updates to these terms means you accept the revised version.
